Established in 2004, CIDP (Centre International de Développement Pharmaceutique) is an international Contract Research Organisation (CRO) that carries out high R&D activities for pharmaceutical, medical device, nutraceutical and cosmetic industries.
As part of the new shared audit services proposed by FEBEA (The French Federation of Fragrance, Cosmetics and Toiletries) for mutualizing audits of test providers for the effectiveness of sun protection products, CIDP Romania received a 5-day audit last September on photobiology (in vivo (SPF, WR and UVA) and UVA in vitro studies).
The audit was managed by SOGESCO, the commercial subsidiary of FEBEA and represented a good opportunity for CIDP to review its work practices and to receive feedback to further enhance its quality.
