Established in 2004, CIDP (Centre International de Développement Pharmaceutique) is an international Contract Research Organisation (CRO) that carries out high R&D activities for pharmaceutical, medical device, nutraceutical and cosmetic industries.
Dr. Annie Jain, Dermatologist and Scientific Director at CIDP India, was awarded the Dr. Manu Patel Memorial Prize for the poster entitled “Efficacy and Tolerance of a Moisturizing Cream containing Ceramide and Multivesicular Emulsion (MVE) Technology as Monotherapy in Mild to Moderate Atopic Dermatitis (AD)” at the recent Dermacon in Hyderabad, India.
This study, conducted at CIDP India, addressed the chronic inflammatory disorder affecting the skin barrier, resulting in dryness and itchiness. The successful completion of the study on 120 patients with AD highlighted CIDP India’s capabilities in recruiting and managing large cohorts of volunteers. CIDP owes this success to its team of experts and its network of dermatologists and healthcare professionals.
