Established in 2004, CIDP (Centre International de Développement Pharmaceutique) is an international Contract Research Organisation (CRO) that carries out high R&D activities for pharmaceutical, medical device, nutraceutical and cosmetic industries.
The rise in the prevalence of diabetes has become a major public health concern. Recent data indicates that one in ten adults globally currently live with diabetes, with numbers expected to rise to 643 million by 2030!
Likewise, Mauritius has not been spared… Along with its high prevalence of adult diabetes, youth Type 2 Diabetes has emerged as a growing concern.
On the occasion of WorldDiabetesDay2021 and in keeping with the theme “Access to Diabetes Care”, CIDP is dedicated to providing access to novel treatment options by participating in clinical trials which investigate the use of new medications in this cohort of patients, while raising awareness among parents and children.
